Senior Product Designer

Abridge was founded in 2018 with the mission of powering deeper understanding in healthcare. Our AI-powered platform improves clinical documentation efficiencies while enabling clinicians to focus on their patients. We transform patient-clinician conversations into structured clinical notes in real-time, with deep EMR integrations. Our technology maps AI-generated summaries to ground truth, helping providers quickly trust and verify the output. We are pioneers in generative AI for healthcare, setting industry standards for the responsible deployment of AI.

Responsibilities

• Tackle our most challenging and ambiguous design and customer problems, transforming complex clinical workflows and AI capabilities into intuitive and delightful user experiences.
• Push the boundaries of visual and interaction design, ensuring every pixel and interaction is meticulously considered and executed to perfection.
• Design for today’s needs and tomorrow’s challenges, translating early ideas into concrete, high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and user flows.
• Simplify the Complex: Simplify complex clinical workflows and AI capabilities into intuitive and delightful user experiences.
• Elevate Our Craft: Elevate our craft by pushing the boundaries of visual and interaction design.
• Lead End-to-End Design Execution: Lead end-to-end design execution, from concept to launch, ensuring every design decision is rooted in a deep understanding of user needs and pain points.
• Champion User-Centered Design: Advocate passionately for our users, clinicians who rely on our product daily, engaging in user research and synthesizing insights to ensure every design decision is grounded in their needs and pain points.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of experience shipping impactful product design in complex domains, with bonus points for AI experience.
• A proven track record of leading significant design initiatives from concept to launch, demonstrating measurable impact on user experience and business outcomes.
• A high craft bar that you consistently meet and exceed, sweating the details and inspiring others to do the same.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills that enable you to articulate design rationale and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• A highly collaborative spirit and a low ego, with a genuine desire to learn, teach, and grow with a fast-paced, high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work from our SF or NYC office at least 3x per week.
• This position requires a commitment to a hybrid work model, with the expectation of coming into the office a minimum of (3) three times per week.
• Relocation assistance is available for candidates willing to move to San Francisco or New York.
