About the role
The Senior Procurement Technician is responsible for managing procurement processes, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and supporting the procurement team in achieving cost-effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage procurement processes from sourcing to contract management
- Research and evaluate suppliers and vendors
- Prepare and maintain procurement documentation
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements
- Support the procurement team in negotiating contracts and agreements
- Monitor supplier performance and provide feedback
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with business objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Experience with procurement software and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry standards
- Understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to procurement
