About the Overseas Procurement Team
The Tencent Overseas Procurement Team is responsible for leading and managing global procurement operations and strategic sourcing across our international regions. Through active sourcing of suppliers and agencies, negotiation, and relationship management, the candidate will play an important role in driving operational excellence to support Tencent’s global business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage procurement operations and commercial aspects of procurement projects, including progress management, demand management, commercial negotiations, price management, contract management, and issue resolution during execution.
- Formulate and implement procurement strategies aligned with business development goals.
- Develop, manage, evaluate, and improve supplier performance.
- Collect and analyze market trends and changes to inform procurement decisions.
- Streamline and diagnose procurement processes and promote cross-team problem-solving.
Requirements
- Aligns with Tencent's corporate culture, displaying integrity, responsibility, and excellence in cross-team collaboration.
- Bachelor's degree or higher, with 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related fields (IT, HR, BPO, Marketing, Software, etc.).
- Prefer 2+ years of local procurement experience.
- Experience in independently managing procurement projects and deep knowledge of procurement practices.
- Outstanding business negotiation skills; passionate, resilient, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
- Strong organizational, logical thinking, problem-solving, and document editing skills.
- Excellent learning, communication, and problem analysis/resolution abilities.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus.

Pay
The expected base pay range for this position is $88,100 to $205,900 per year. Actual pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
