Responsibilities

• Join a dynamic engineering team in the execution of client projects.
• Execute process designs primarily within the consumer products industry, investigating and analyzing data to make sound process design decisions aligned with company, client, and project objectives.
• Apply theory in a practical context to determine feasibility of design, identify potential process upsets and malfunctions, incorporate appropriate remediations, and apply commercially available technology for process execution.
• Uphold professional ethics in the application of codes and standards and in client interactions.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and eagerness to add value to clients with Jedson’s engineering expertise.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and the courage to challenge the status quo.
• Experience in the Food & Beverage industry preferred.
• Experience leading or executing process designs documented on PFDs, P&IDs, general arrangement drawings, specifications, design basis, and associated lists.
• Knowledge of typical chemicals and fluids used in consumer products applications, interactions with materials of construction, and proper design considerations.
• Fluency with AutoCAD and Fathom.
• Understanding of fluid control valves and instrumentation.
• Familiarity with specification and sizing of pumps, heat exchangers, vessels, and other process equipment.
• Great customer relationship/management skills.
• Preferably on‑site, in‑plant, and startup experience.
