Senior Process Manufacturing Engineer

About the Role

The Senior Process Manufacturing Engineer leads and develops current and future manufacturing processes by coordinating engineering activities to support the organization’s manufacturing engineering needs. This role supports Continuous Improvement, product cost reduction programs, and the in-house ME testing lab, while mentoring fellow engineering staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level technical support, training, and guidance for assigned engineering projects.
• Offer expert guidance and training to fellow engineers and peers.
• Support manufacturing departments and new-product development projects.
• Write, update, and review work instructions, part specifications, validation protocols, test reports, engineering reports, and technical documents (ECOs, MPs, QCs, rework instructions, and cost analyses).
• Interface with internal and external resources to review design changes and product line enhancements.
• Develop, plan, manage, and lead engineering projects, including cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform detailed engineering assessments, such as Process Capability (CPK), line layouts, rebalancing, flow optimization, and automation projects.
• Support organizational growth initiatives and new product line introductions.
• Participate in the Operational Excellence program and provide training on Lean improvement processes.
• Analyze and review workflow, equipment design, and workspace layout for efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate the development and control of the company’s capital expense budgets.

Requirements

• 5 years of engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (required).
• Master’s Degree in engineering (preferred).

Pay

Pay range for this opportunity is $107,525.00 – $139,150.00. This position is eligible for bonus participation. Pay rates are based on factors including local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, and other qualifications.
