About the role
You will play a key role supporting Kinder's by designing, implementing, optimizing, and continuously improving manufacturing processes.
What You'll Be Doing
- We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Sr. Process Engineer to assist in development, control, and documentation of food manufacturing process to assure we produce top quality food with consistency
- Develop and optimize production processes in partnership with co-manufacturers
- Identify inconsistencies and assist in continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain process documentation and work instructions
- Travel to co-manufacturing sites to support trial and first production activities
- Support onboarding of new co-manufacturers including process transfer and validation
- Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to drive data-based decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related field)
- Strong problem solving and data analysis skills, outside the box thinking
- Willingness and ability to travel (50%)
- 5-7 years experience in process engineering or food manufacturing

Location & Pay
This position will be based onsite in Walnut Creek, CA. Additionally, it will involve 50% travel; predominantly in the U.S. The expected starting salary range for this role is $115,000–$130,000 per year.
