About the role

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) delivers mission-critical applications for top-tier enterprises around the world. Our cloud offers unmatched hyper-scale, multi-tenant services deployed in more than 50 regions worldwide. OCI is expanding its mission beyond the traditional boundaries of public cloud to include dedicated, hybrid and multi-cloud, edge computing, and more. At the Technical Strategy and Oversight (TSO) organization, we are reimagining the cloud. Our mission is to scale to hundreds of thousands of regions to meet evolving customer needs. We are building a platform to enable an autonomous cloud vision and services, transforming everything from runtime environments to the software development lifecycle and operations. This greenfield, industry-first project will enable a fundamental shift in how the cloud is perceived and utilized.

Responsibilities

  • Lead creation of the autonomous cloud platform’s product vision, strategy, and roadmap, directly tied to OCI’s mission of transforming cloud infrastructure at hyper-scale.
  • Engage with top-tier internal and external customers, developers, and partners to shape product direction and prioritize features that anticipate evolving use cases and business models.
  • Champion a data-driven, customer-first approach, balancing ambitious innovation with operational excellence and reliability.
  • Serve as an internal and external evangelist for OCI’s autonomous cloud vision.
  • Drive the adoption strategy by identifying key customer segments, crafting compelling value propositions.
  • Build the business case for this work, including defining metrics and KPIs to measure success.
  • Define and implement the vision, strategy, and roadmap for autonomous cloud products, in line with the TSO portfolio strategy.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather insights, ensuring the products address market needs and improve customer experiences.
  • Drive new product development and enhancements to existing solutions, utilizing innovative approaches to meet market demands and improve competitive positioning.
  • Partner with engineering, marketing, sales, and other teams to manage product releases, integration, and successful deployment to clients.
  • Leverage market research, analytics, and feedback to inform product direction and prioritize features based on customer impact and business goals.
  • Own the product backlog, define user stories, and lead Agile development to deliver solutions that address real-world autonomous cloud challenges.
  • Serve as a product ambassador, sharing the product vision and strategy through presentations, conferences, and social media.
  • Maintain a focus on delivering high-quality solutions and fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in product management for highly technical enterprise software, cloud, or platform products, with a track record of shipping mission-critical solutions.
  • Prior experience building, leading, and mentoring teams through the entire product lifecycle, ideally in greenfield or transformative environments.
  • Deep technical and business understanding of cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, runtime environments, and developer ecosystems.
  • Exceptional ability to define, articulate, and execute innovations that drive market shifts.
  • Proven collaboration skills, with experience engaging diverse teams—including engineering, operations, design, sales, and senior leadership.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication capabilities, with a relentless focus on customer value and business outcomes.
  • Entrepreneurial drive, bold thinking, and comfort with ambiguity and rapid change.
  • Familiarity with cloud technology, logic, and computer science.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 10+ years of experience as a hands-on product manager for customer-facing products.
  • Experience launching and operating customer-facing cloud services.
  • Experience training sales/field engineers on service/platform features.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 15+ years of product management, product design, or related experience.
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience (MS preferred).
  • Thorough understanding of public cloud infrastructure services, such as Compute, Storage, Identity, and Networking.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS services.

Pay

US: Hiring range in USD from $126,200 - $264,100 per year. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

  • Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
