Senior Principal Software Project Engineer (Onsite)

About the role

The Project Engineer role at Collins Aerospace involves driving execution through management of work scope across multiple programs, coordination with Integrated Product Team Leads, and adherence to project timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a dedicated team of software engineers to manage work scope across multiple programs
• Collaborate with Integrated Product Team Leads/Program Managers to ensure requirements are defined and understood, risks/opportunities are managed, and schedules/budgets are met
• Exercise responsibility in choosing and meeting the technical, financial, and schedule targets of projects
• Manage Control Account Management (CAM) activities
• Create bid and proposal efforts in Bid Master Web (BMW)

Requirements

• Control Account Management (CAM) experience
• Bid and proposal experience using Bid Master Web (BMW)
• Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development experience using MS Project
• Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Experience mentoring engineers in processes and best practices
• Scrum master and/or Product Owner experience

Qualifications

• You must have an active Secret security clearance
• Familiarity with DevSecOps concepts and software tools
• Familiarity with the Scaled Agile framework

Skills

Control Account Management (CAM), Bid and proposal experience using Bid Master Web (BMW), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development experience using MS Project, Detail-oriented, Effective communication and interpersonal skills, Scrum master and/or Product Owner experience, Familiarity with DevSecOps concepts and software tools, Familiarity with the Scaled Agile framework

Pay

The salary range for this role is $132,400 - $251,600.
