Senior Principal Product Manager - Infusion

About the role
This position is designated as remote. However, employees who reside within a 40-mile radius of one of our office locations in Tampa, FL; Canonsburg, PA; or Bowie, MD will follow a hybrid work schedule and are expected to work in the office two days per week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays).
The Senior Principal Product Manager supports the development of product strategy and roadmap, market and product requirements, and marketing plans for a specific product or products. This role provides insight and recommendations to meet market demand, documents solutions to business problems, and collaborates with Client and Product Leadership, Business Analysts, Developers, QA, Design, and Support teams to ensure requirements are fully defined and the proposed approach is both agreeable and complete.
The Senior Principal Product Manager represents the customer perspective, focusing on operational efficiency, standard operating procedures, clinical best practices, change management, and end-user experiences. This role also participates in UI/UX design development and review, with a focus on pharmacy process optimization, and may work directly with clients to enable them to achieve their goals and deliver on the overall product strategy.
Responsibilities
- Gather, refine, and distill market feedback and market analysis to define requirements and document the solution approach, iterating through adjustments to ensure alignment with company, client, and product strategy.
- Collaborate with Client Management, Product, and Architecture Teams to define the functional approach to delivering on the product vision and customer needs.
- Accountable for the successful definition, delivery, and implementation of solutions for which they provide advisement.
- Escalate any project risks, impacts, or client executive misalignments as they are identified.

- Collaborate with Product Managers to support strategic road-mapping and product investing.
- Review, understand, weigh-in, and approve deliverables (requirements, designs, etc.).
- Create a multitude of artifacts, including scope/approach documents for product and client initiatives as part of the product innovation team.
- Present at internal training, product turnover, and knowledge-sharing events as necessary.
- Manage product management and marketing to perform win-loss analysis.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to deliver positioning documents, marketing plans, and other go-to-market activities.
- Continuously perform competitive analysis and maintain expert-level knowledge of the competitive landscape for the product.
- Develop, perform, and coordinate internal product training for sales, client services, and solution engineer teams.
- Review and approve product pricing and solution strategies for client purchases.
- Validate product budget against revenue and expenses on an ongoing basis.
- Coordinate with technology and other groups to create timely client-facing communication and collaterals related to products.
- Maintain compliance with Inovalon's policies, procedures, and mission statement.
- Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon's Operating Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (B.A./B.S.) required; Master’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (M.A./M.S.) preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in product marketing or product management, with a minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience.
- 5+ years of healthcare experience with system designs and concepts experience required.
Skills

- High familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Working Conditions
This is a primarily sedentary role. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear for extended periods and repetitively use manual labor to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment. The employee may occasionally need to stand, walk, or lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Pay
Base compensation range: $132,000—$180,000 USD. This position may also be eligible for performance-based incentives. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
