Senior/Principal Medical Editor - FSP

Location: Remote – US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually

This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Responsibilities

• Ensure documents comply with sponsor and regulatory requirements
• Represent the editorial team in cross-departmental projects as necessary
• Track project timelines and budgets, alerting stakeholders of risks
• Provide technical expertise and mentor junior staff in editing practices
• Lead complex medical writing projects, managing meetings and deliverables
• Participate in the editing of medical documents, ensuring stylistic consistency
• Review document quality, driving process improvements where needed

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in medical editing or related field
• Strong understanding of FDA and EU regulatory guidelines and industry standards
• Experience in managing complex medical writing projects
• Proven mentoring and training skills within medical editing teams
• Excellent command of AMA Manual of Style and custom style guidelines
