Senior Principal Integration Architect

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the enterprise integration and data movement reference architecture, including API-led integration, Event-driven architecture (EDA), ETL / ELT data pipelines, B2B/EDI integrations, Hybrid cloud and on-prem data flows.
  • Drive the modernization of legacy ETL and point-to-point integrations into scalable, reusable, and event-enabled architectures.
  • Establish standards, patterns, and governance for both real-time and batch data integrations.
  • Design and govern high-volume, high-throughput data integrations, including transactional data, master data, analytical data feeds.
  • Lead platform rationalization, cost optimization, and performance tuning of ETL / ELT solutions supporting data warehouses and data lakes, reporting and analytics platforms, operational data stores.
  • Define patterns for batch vs near-real-time data movement, change data capture (CDC), data transformation, enrichment, and validation.
  • Ensure data quality, lineage, and traceability across integration and ETL pipelines.
  • Partner with Data & Analytics teams to align integration architecture with data platform strategy.
  • Enable B2B integrations, including EDI (X12, EDIFACT), secure file-based and message-based data exchanges, and enable B2C and external-facing integrations supporting digital channels (web, mobile, e-commerce), real-time APIs and event streams, customer and partner data synchronization.
  • Ensure scalability, security, and SLA adherence for external data flows.
  • Integrate with SAP S/4HANA and ECC ecosystems, design ETL and integration patterns for order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, finance and controlling, master data governance.
  • Align integration and ETL architecture with ERP transformation and data harmonization initiatives.
  • Establish and enforce API and event governance, ETL design standards, data schema, transformation, and versioning standards.
  • Partner with Security and Compliance teams to ensure secure data transport (OAuth2, mTLS, certificates), data privacy and regulatory compliance, architect for high availability and disaster recovery, fault tolerance and replay ability, monitoring, alerting, and observability across integrations and ETL pipelines.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelors degree and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Nice to have: Enterprise Integration, ETL & Event Streaming | B2B & B2C, SAP IS/ BTP, webMethods, Kafka, Boomi, Mulesoft, Informatica ETL.

Benefits & Compensation

MiniMed offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package. Salary ranges for U.S. (excl. PR) locations (USD): $164,000.00 - $278,000.00. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, market conditions, internal equity, and geographic location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
