About the role

The Senior Principal TPM identifies and resolves deployment blockers, resource constraints, vendor performance issues, material shortages, and other delivery risks; leads rapid-response engagements to address complex site challenges; develops recovery plans to maintain schedules; validates workforce readiness, material availability, and deployment sequencing; and monitors contractor and vendor performance against project milestones. The role collaborates closely with suppliers, contractors, and cross-functional teams, including Design, CHS Rack Deployment, CNE, Build, LVV, and DCFE, to resolve execution gaps, improve delivery outcomes, and drive process optimization.

Oversees documentation, quality control, site walks, startup and commissioning activities, risk mitigation, vendor and contractor management, and ensures power, cooling, networking, bulk fiber, Metro connection, and structured cabling installations meet approved OCI design specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a mission-critical delivery leader to resolve high-priority, high-risk program challenges.
• Provide onsite leadership during the final deployment stages of large-scale AI data center builds, driving execution through cabling, validation, CPV testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Establish program governance, risk management frameworks, and reporting mechanisms.
• Provide strategic oversight and leadership for the construction of data centers by colocation providers, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Develop, maintain, and provide executive oversight for comprehensive project schedules, ensuring strategic coordination with colocation providers for successful delivery of all project milestones.
• Lead and oversee the strategic creation, management, and optimization of project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effective delivery of projects.
• Oversee the creation, review, and maintenance of documentation, including design review, commissioning, and problem-solving papers, ensuring high standards and effective management.
• Lead site walks, startup, commissioning, and validation activities to ensure deployment readiness.
• Direct the implementation and oversight of quality control processes to ensure all construction activities meet design specifications and industry standards.
• Strategize and lead the coordination and integration of tenant fit-out projects, optimizing efforts throughout design, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Conduct strategic site walks to ensure schedule adherence, coordination, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide executive oversight and strategic leadership for the startup and commissioning phases of major data center projects, ensuring operational readiness and compliance with design specifications.
• Identify and resolve deployment blockers, resource constraints, material shortages, vendor performance issues, and other delivery risks.
• Lead the evaluation of risk profiles associated with timely project delivery across a portfolio of projects.
• Identify critical gaps in risk identification and mitigation and drive organizational-wide initiatives to address these gaps.
• Develop and ensure the execution of comprehensive mitigation strategies for major construction project risks.
• Build strong partnerships with internal organizations, including CHS Rack Deployment, CNE, Build, LVV, and DCFE, to resolve execution gaps.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the company and colocation providers, ensuring clear communication and addressing long-term strategic issues.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships to support internal and external stakeholders at a high level.
• Direct collaboration with design teams to ensure construction activities align with approved design plans and specifications.
• Provide high-level colocation provider evaluation input for continuous improvement.
• Oversee the installation of power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling systems, ensuring adherence to quality standards and resolving installation challenges.
• Manage and provide direction on timelines, deliverables, and budgets for critical high-impact projects or initiatives.
• Anticipate and plan for shifts in resources or timelines based on changing business priorities.
• Collaborate across engineering, construction, operations, suppliers, and contractors to deliver complex AI infrastructure deployments.
• Influence cross-functional leaders and external stakeholders to gain alignment on strategic objectives.
• Foster partnerships with key business leaders, stakeholders, and customers, identifying opportunities for expanding partnerships.
• Champion transparency and inclusivity by actively seeking, listening to, and incorporating diverse perspectives.
• Lead specialized, advanced problem-solving efforts, serving as an escalation point for complex issues.

Qualifications

Certain U.S.-based or U.S. customer/client-facing roles may require compliance with applicable requirements, such as immunization, occupational health mandates, and/or drug testing.

Pay

Hiring range in USD: $126,200 to $264,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
