Senior Principal - Business Consulting
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Principal - Business Consulting to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will focus on advising public sector and enterprise clients on complex business and policy challenges, with an emphasis on improving how organizations use data and reporting to make decisions. The position will partner with senior stakeholders, shape customer relationships, and help define strategies that drive measurable outcomes, customer satisfaction, and long-term engagement. It also calls for strong market awareness, analytical thinking, and the ability to translate emerging technology trends into practical recommendations for public sector environments.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Pay
$210,000 – $256,667 annually
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers across specific public sector domains
- Lead delivery efforts that drive high customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Communicate the value proposition effectively to senior leaders
- Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert in designated policy areas
- Create journey maps to help redefine agency processes related to data use and reporting
- Understand market trends and political risks associated with new technology investments
- Design results-oriented strategies to address complex business challenges
Qualifications
- 9+ years of senior experience in utilities, lottery, workforce development, commerce, or higher education
- Decision-making experience in state or federal government roles such as Chief of Staff or Director-level positions
- Experience with public sector market-leading products
- Background working with enterprise clients, particularly in government or technical sectors
- Strong analytical skills with familiarity in data science and AI
