About the Role

The computer vision team is responsible for growing our capabilities in image analysis and recognition. Our goal is to enable customers to apply computer vision to solve their particular business problems with our assistance and expertise. In this role, you will have an opportunity to work with teams of applied scientists and engineers to deliver high-quality computer vision models and services that delight our customers with the confidence that their data are safe and protected.

We are seeking a visionary scientist to spearhead computer vision initiatives and lead the technical direction of the team. You will drive the development and implementation of cutting-edge computer vision technologies and work with a team of world-class scientists to explore new frontiers of computer vision to enable real-world solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of scientists.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate computer vision capabilities into various applications and products.
  • Identify new opportunities for computer vision emerging technologies.
  • Provide technical direction and guidance to the team, and drive the development of the computer vision roadmap.

Requirements

  • PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a dissertation, thesis, or final project centered in Computer Vision and Machine Learning (8+ years relevant experience preferred but not required); OR Master’s or Bachelor’s in a related field with 10+ years relevant experience.
  • Strong publication record, including as a lead author or reviewer, in top-tier journals or conferences.
  • Extensive experience in computer vision, deep learning, and image processing.
  • Proven track record of leading research and development projects.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and architectures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Pay

Hiring range in USD: $169,800 to $355,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
