Senior Principal AI Solutions Architect
About the role
The AI Solutions Architect will research and develop target workloads for various market segments for AI Inference, analyze system level performance, specify system level requirements, and collaborate with hardware and software teams to guide the development of next generation AI accelerators and software frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Research and develop target workloads for various market segments for AI Inference
- Analyze the system level performance of these workloads on different AI HW and SW frameworks
- Specify system level requirements for different target markets for performance, cost, and power optimized solutions
- Translate customer usages into realistic workloads that can be accurately modeled for performance, power, and cost in various hardware and software architectures
- Predict trends in a quantitative way to influence hardware and software architecture direction
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to guide the development of next generation AI accelerators and software frameworks
Requirements
- A Master's or PhD in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- 10+ years of working experience in AI/ML software, hardware architecture, and workload analysis
- Strong expertise in AI accelerators, computer architecture, distributed systems, memory hierarchies, and high performance interconnects used in AI systems
- Ability to convert customer usages into realistic workloads that can be accurately modeled for performance, power, and cost in various hardware and software architectures
- Ability to predict trends in a quantitative way to influence hardware and software architecture direction
- Proficiency in using tools to profile, analyze, and optimize performance
- Excellent communication skills
