The Senior Branch Premier Banker (SAFE) role at Wells Fargo is pivotal within the National Branch Network. This role involves growing, deepening, and managing relationships with affluent customers and those with complex financial needs. Key responsibilities include acquiring and deepening relationships through strategic outreach, referrals, and pre-planned customer appointments, leading discovery-driven conversations to understand customer goals, and delivering tailored banking and credit strategies.
- Proactively acquire new affluent consumer and business customers
- Deepen existing relationships through proactive outreach and building strong internal partnerships
- Serve as the primary financial partner delivering comprehensive, multi-product guidance and ongoing reviews across life stages and evolving financial needs
- Partner with a team of professionals across Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking to deliver integrated solutions
- Champion digital adoption by educating customers on self-service and mobile banking options
- Advise colleagues on relationship development and the management of complex client needs
- Demonstrate risk excellence through accurate documentation, sound judgment, timely issue escalation, and adherence to policies and regulations
Requirements
This role requires 4+ years of customer service experience, 3+ years of experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners, and 3+ years of experience recommending products and services. Candidates should have experience managing a book-of-business, documenting planning conversations, and consistent follow-through to drive retention and growth across deposits, lending, and investments. Proven experience coaching or supporting peers to strengthen team performance and customer impact is also desired.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must have a license pending for the Senior Branch Premier Banker LP role and successfully complete licensing requirements and SAFE registration. The role requires FINRA Series 6 and 63 (or FINRA recognized equivalents) and State Insurance licenses. Additional FINRA qualifications exams may be required, and employees must meet enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards.
