Senior Practice Manager

About the role

The Senior Practice Manager leads ambulatory care operations, ensuring excellence in patient and caregiver safety, quality assurance, patient experience, equity, patient access, financial stewardship, caregiver engagement, and clinic growth. They make employment decisions, support ancillary services, and oversee up to 7 clinics or multiple specialties.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and inspires a culture of accountability and teamwork.
• Develops a vision for the practice and executes plans to achieve it.
• Collaborates with 10-30 physicians and APPs, 23-60 caregivers, and manages up to 7 clinics.
• Supports ancillary services like human resources and information systems.
• Manages up to 4 direct leader reports, fostering their development.

Requirements

• Leadership experience and ability to motivate others.
• Experience in a matrixed organization and influencing non-direct reports.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and advanced applications.
• Problem-solving and issue resolution abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in healthcare settings.
• Preferred 2 years of leadership experience over multiple departments, budgets, and leaders.
