About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer to join our onsite team in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end Power BI dashboards and reports
- Perform Power BI administration tasks including workspace and gateway management
- Create data models and ensure data accuracy, scalability, and performance
- Develop and maintain ETL workflows using SSIS
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale data processing
- Utilize Power Query for data transformation and Power Automate for task automation
- Handle, process, and analyze massive datasets (500M+ records) efficiently
- Collaborate with data architects and analysts to ensure seamless integration with the Enterprise Data Warehouse
- Apply healthcare data knowledge in day-to-day development, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and understanding of HL7 and ICD standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Strong Expereince in Power BI development
- Proven experience with:
- Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, visualizations)
- Power BI administration
- SQL (strong proficiency in writing complex queries)
- ETL processes using SSIS
- Power Automate
- Hands-on experience working with large-scale datasets (500M+ records)
- Experience working with Enterprise Data Warehouses
- Strong background in healthcare data, including:
- Patient and provider data
- Encounter and claims processing
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance, HL7, and ICD coding systems
