Senior PostgreSQL Database Engineer, RDS
Key job responsibilities
- Work closely with our customers to understand their challenges, solve issues during critical escalations, and teach best practices.
- Act as the “voice of the customer” to bring learnings to the engineering process and shape the direction of the RDS service.
- Drive feature enhancements, permanently resolve root causes of issues, and improve the performance of the managed database service.
- Be the ultimate subject matter expert for all things databases, serving as a resource for the development team, support team, account team, and customers directly.
- Extend knowledge to other database engines beyond PostgreSQL and engage with the open-source community through forums, conferences, and code submissions.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $145,900.00 - $197,400.00 USD annually.
