About the role

This role is located in Dallas and involves independently managing a significant amount of assets within the client's investment policy guidelines. Directing a significant portion of assets under management (AUM) and overseeing larger or more complex relationships/accounts that are strategic to the region. Meeting with clients and new business prospects to communicate investment strategy, discuss market performance, and review current market conditions. Evaluating and articulating investment performance and making timely portfolio adjustments to meet investment objectives and allocation guidelines. Participating in investment committee responsibilities, contributing to the development of policies and strategies to improve portfolio performance. Making informed business decisions based on stakeholder input, data, and key performance indicators to support client retention and success.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients and new business prospects to communicate investment strategy, discuss market performance, and review current market conditions.
  • Evaluate and articulate investment performance and make timely portfolio adjustments to meet investment objectives and allocation guidelines.
  • Participate in investment committee responsibilities, contributing to the development of policies and strategies to improve portfolio performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required; advanced/graduate degree preferred.
  • 10-15 years of total work experience preferred, with over 10 years of investment experience preferred for candidates holding advanced portfolio management designations such as CFA, CIMA, or MBA.
  • Applicable local or regional licenses and certifications as required by the business.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring junior investment professionals.

Qualifications

Pay

The expected base salary for this position when employment commences can be found in the Job Info section at the bottom of the posting. Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award.

Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, the employee will be in an “at will” position and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payments or compensation programs) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
