Responsibilities
- Understand and follow all property governing documents (CC&Rs, By-Laws, & Rules).
- Quickly gain a working knowledge of MarWest systems and networks (including Avid, Jenark or AppFolio, Connect, etc.), and assimilate standard operating policies and procedures.
- Proactively inspect landscape and other common amenities and execute necessary repair and maintenance activities in accordance with the management agreement.
- Respond promptly to owner/tenant requests for maintenance or compliance issues, or architectural change approvals.
- Gather detailed bids for major non-recurring projects, or for requested changes in recurring vendor contracts.
- Maintain and monitor the financial position of the association, creating and operating within approved budgets, and presenting detailed, professional financial reports.
- Assess and monitor property needs, identifying opportunities for improved communication or service delivery methods, and implementing programs or improvements.
- Confidently and clearly run client-facing meetings.
- Work collectively with leaders and colleagues to develop and implement new company procedures, policy changes, etc.
- Communicate effectively in writing and verbally, anticipating and resolving issues constructively.
- Work efficiently using a computer, including various programs.
- Operate with an active, multi-tasking, resilient attitude, instilling confidence in board members and owners.
- Deal with conflict and work well under pressure.
