Senior Poker Dealer

Summary

This position oversees the poker room area and any assigned table games activities. The Poker Manager ensures gaming activity is conducted with the highest levels of integrity and professionalism, and maintains compliance with internal and external policies and procedures.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage staff in the Poker area
• Develop, implement, and manage operational goals
• Create effective and efficient schedules, while maintaining labor costs and meeting staffing objectives
• Assist in the budget process for the department and provide recommendations
• Support and promote superior customer service
• Achieve department customer service goals
• Ensure accountability for chips, cards, and all gaming equipment
• Answer inquiries about Poker policies and services, and resolve complaints
• Manage Poker tournaments, ensure rules/regulations are followed, assist with registration, and calculate winners
• Create Poker Room promotions and tournaments
• Implement and oversee strategies for customer service, comping, games layout and mix, revenue growth, and expense management
• Engage all team members, address and manage feedback, suggestions, complaints, and grievances
• Protect and preserve company assets
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and report potential issues

Qualification Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
• Five years experience in a comparable Poker Operations leadership position
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft applications and Poker operating systems
• Ability to interact diplomatically and resolve conflicts
• Knowledge of Poker operations
• Flexible to work all shifts, including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime

Responsibilities

• Supervisory responsibilities: Staff development and training programs, rewards and recognition program, performance evaluations, staffing and scheduling, workflow expediting, and disciplinary actions
• Credentialing requirements: Compliance with Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board

• Lifting/moving: Maximum of 25lbs

Work Environment

• High noise level
• Smoking environment in guest areas, non-smoking environment for employees

Starting Salary

$24 an hour based on experience.
