Senior PM

About the role

Fully remote project manager position for a large Dell Technologies Select customer migration initiative. The engagement is 1,920 hours and requires a drug test for onboarding. The customer is in the pilot stage of a migration from VMax950F to PowerMax arrays, with discovery nearly complete and planning underway.

Responsibilities

• Manage large, complex migration projects (scope: 3.3PB allocated, 1.6PB consumed across 14 VMax950F arrays, 6 sites, 477 hosts).
• Develop project plans, RAID charts, burn‑down reporting, and migration event tracking.
• Coordinate pre‑ and post‑migration task tracking, performance analysis (array statistics), and reporting.
• Oversee migration event management (up to 18 events, up to 300 TB per month).
• Arrange additional resources for health checks on arrays pre‑ and post‑migration.
• Ensure adherence to assumptions: use of Open Replicator/SRDF tools, no SAN fabric migration, ADA out of scope.
• Liaise with customer‑owned change management, scheduling, and host/server administration.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing large, complex migration projects.
• Strong project‑management fundamentals (PM 101): project planning, RAID charts, burn‑down reporting.
• Ability to work 100% remote and pass a drug test for onboarding.

Skills

• Migration tools: Open Replicator, SRDF.
• Array health‑check execution and pre/post performance analysis.
• Capacity planning for target PowerMax arrays (including up to four additional arrays).
• Understanding of SRDF replication recreation for up to 10% of in‑scope hosts.
• Experience with masking automation.
