Senior Platform Engineer, Workday (Workday Studio)

You will champion automation of functional and technical processes and bring your expertise to drive innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
- Understand and translate the priorities of the business while integrating HR value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the business
- Deliver solutions in Workday across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll, and Benefits through efficient and organized processes while maintaining high standards
- Effectively communicate across team, Product Owner, stakeholders, and influence solutions across business partners
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, collaborate with HR partners to provide innovative ideas and insights to redesign business processes that will optimize business results
- Continually research, test, and stay up-to-date on Workday updates, fixes, and capabilities
- Build and maintain thorough documentation for system implementation
- Serve as the primary contact for questions related to how the system works from both a business and technical perspective
- Provide production support for Workday by troubleshooting problems, testing, and working with the business to resolve issues
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- At least 4 years of Workday platform engineering experience
- At least 2 years of experience designing and developing integration solutions
- At least 2 years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of experience working with Workday platform across HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Compensation, or Talent and Performance Management
- 3+ years of experience designing and developing integration solutions in Workday using Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Custom Reports, or RaaS solutions
- 3+ years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP
- Workday Integration Developer certifications
- 1+ years designing and developing solutions using Workday Extend
- 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service
- 2+ years of experience in Agile practices

- Cambridge, MA: $131,300 - $149,800 for Senior Platform Engineer
- Chicago, IL: $119,400 - $136,200 for Senior Platform Engineer
- McLean, VA: $131,300 - $149,800 for Senior Platform Engineer
- New York, NY: $143,200 - $163,500 for Senior Platform Engineer
- Plano, TX: $119,400 - $136,200 for Senior Platform Engineer
- Richmond, VA: $119,400 - $136,200 for Senior Platform Engineer
- San Francisco, CA: $143,200 - $163,500 for Senior Platform Engineer
- San Jose, CA: $143,200 - $163,500 for Senior Platform Engineer
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long-term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
