Senior Platform Engineer, Growth Product Engineering

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer, Growth Product Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will shape the foundational platform capabilities that enable faster, safer software delivery across a modern cloud environment. You will partner closely with engineering and security teams to improve developer velocity, strengthen release reliability, and support scalable operations. The position also includes building observability, automation, and AI-enabled tooling that enhances incident response and day-to-day platform efficiency. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $131,792 – $199,350 annually Responsibilities Own the CI/CD foundation for AI-assisted development with enhanced security and testing measures Provide a swift, secure development loop with isolated, realistic environments for engineers Establish centralized logging and monitoring to ensure visibility across AWS systems Lead security engineering initiatives focusing on vulnerability remediation and secure patterns Migrate AWS resources to Infrastructure as Code and implement robust backup strategies Develop self-service tooling for standardized release patterns and mentorship opportunities Build and manage AI agents for streamlined SRE functions and automated incident handling Qualifications 6+ years in software, infrastructure, DevOps, platform, or site reliability engineering Hands-on AWS experience with IAM, Lambda, and multi-account organizations Experience designing CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions, with automated testing and secure release patterns Strong Python development skills and familiarity with JavaScript, Docker, and orchestration tools Knowledge of cloud security posture management tools like Wiz or semgrep Experience with centralized logging and observability in distributed systems using tools like Datadog or Grafana Proven record of improving production infrastructure reliability, security, or developer velocity Benefits Flexible working model with remote work options Professional development stipend for continual growth Comprehensive health and parental leave plans Opportunity for performance-based bonuses and equity in a high-growth company Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
