General Responsibilities
- Manage Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Meet, etc.) for our organization
- Provide prompt and effective technical support to users, troubleshooting issues and answering questions
- Maintain system performance, security, and data integrity, taking proactive measures to address potential problems
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Google Workspace features and best practices, implementing updates and improvements as needed
- Develop and maintain clear documentation and training materials for users
- Focus on building and maintaining the underlying operational aspects of the platform including remediating vulnerabilities
- Monitor platform support Slack channels and address customer questions and issues
- Lead the availability, resilience and scalability of the platform
- Work closely with the Architecture team to align the platforms to latest architecture and configuration
- Encourage innovation, automation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization and diversity to a legacy process
- Develop, and utilize best practices to enhance the overall user experience of the platform
- Utilize scripting languages like Python, Bash, and others.
- Container Orchestration services including Docker and ECS, CM tools including Ansible and Terraform, and a variety of AWS tools and services
- Collaborate with the Software Engineers to ensure software works seamlessly on the platforms
Basic Qualifications
- A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- At least 4 years of experience using build and deployment tools (Jenkins, GitHub, or Artifactory)
- At least 2 years of experience with AWS
- At least 1 year of experience administering Google Workspace
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with AWS
- 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
