  • Access to on-demand professional development resources
  • Generous time-away and health benefits
  • Flexible work options
  • Annual grants for the organizations you love

I can succeed as a Senior Platform Engineer at Capital Group.

  • Architect & Innovate — Design, develop, and optimize sophisticated cloud infrastructure automation on AWS, pushing the boundaries of what Infrastructure as Code can achieve across the enterprise.
  • Infuse AI into Infrastructure — Leverage AI and machine learning capabilities to build intelligent automation — from predictive scaling and anomaly detection to AI-powered troubleshooting, self-healing systems, and intelligent resource optimization that make the platform smarter with every deployment.
  • Empower Teams — Build self-service capabilities that enable internal engineering teams to move faster, deploy with confidence, and leverage Capital Group's cloud platform without friction — including AI-assisted developer tools and copilot-driven workflows.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally — Partner with software engineers, platform engineers, product managers, and product owners to deliver high-quality features across the full Internal Developer Platform product lifecycle.
  • Secure the Enterprise — Work hand-in-hand with security, risk, and compliance teams to embed protection into every layer of the platform — making security a feature, not a bottleneck.
  • Drive Engineering Excellence — Champion best practices, optimize performance, and establish scalable automation patterns — including AI-augmented operational practices — that elevate the entire organization's engineering maturity.
  • Developer Experience - Obsessively refactor IaC modules to ensure they are so intuitive, self-documenting, and foolproof that developers can provision complex infrastructure in seconds, not hours. Own the IaC developer experience end-to-end: build agentic workflows and tooling, author custom Terraform providers in Go, and expose Terraform Enterprise capabilities through thoughtfully designed interfaces that make every internal customer's interaction feel effortless

  • Strong experience creating modules from scratch, managing complex state files, and HCL
  • Proven hands-on experience with Terraform Enterprise and related infrastructure-as-code technologies
  • Experience in creating custom Terraform providers with GoLang
  • Experience in integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Harness, GitOps)
  • Hands on experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools, automation agents, or platform-level AI capabilities to improve engineering productivity, reliability, and scale, while complying with approved enterprise AI platforms, security controls, and audit requirements
  • Strong understanding of version control, secure coding practices, and peer-reviewed development workflows
  • Background in Linux, networking, and Kubernetes
  • Understanding of TLS certificate chains, the TLS security framework and IAM platforms (e.g. Okta, Active Directory)
  • Experienced in Agile/SCRUM methodologies with a focus on product delivery
