Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud platforms across AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid environments.
  • Lead cloud modernization and platform transformation initiatives for enterprise clients.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, Pulumi, or similar technologies.
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines that improve deployment speed, reliability, and quality.
  • Design Kubernetes-based application platforms using modern containerization and orchestration best practices.
  • Implement automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting languages to improve operational efficiency.
  • Design and implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions that improve platform reliability.
  • Implement disaster recovery, high availability, and operational resilience strategies.
  • Assess cloud environments for security, governance, performance, and cost optimization opportunities.
  • Establish cloud governance, tagging standards, budgeting practices, and operational metrics.
  • Lead architecture workshops, technical assessments, and platform strategy discussions with client stakeholders.
  • Mentor engineering teams on cloud architecture, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and platform engineering best practices.
  • Produce architecture documentation, operational runbooks, technical recommendations, and executive presentations.
  • Support solution development and client pursuits by providing technical leadership and consulting expertise.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Architecture.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise cloud platforms.
  • Demonstrated success leading cloud modernization and DevOps transformation initiatives.
  • Consulting or professional services experience working directly with enterprise clients.
  • Strong experience with one or more public cloud providers, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with cloud networking, compute, identity and access management, storage, monitoring, managed databases, and container platforms.
  • Hands-on experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Pulumi (preferred), or similar tools.
  • Experience with Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management practices.
  • Experience designing or supporting Kubernetes platforms, Amazon EKS, Azure AKS, Docker, and Helm.
  • Strong scripting experience using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.
  • Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI/CD.
  • Experience implementing observability solutions using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Splunk, Datadog, or Elastic.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage technical teams and executive leadership.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives across multiple client engagements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certifications.
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience implementing GitOps with ArgoCD or Flux.
  • Experience with Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, or other distributed data platforms.
  • Knowledge of cloud security frameworks and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with API management platforms such as MuleSoft, Kong, Gravitee, or Apigee.
  • Familiarity with AI infrastructure, LLM platforms, or Model Context Protocol (MCP).
  • Experience supporting Salesforce, MuleSoft, or other enterprise SaaS platforms.
  • Experience with FinOps, cloud governance, and cloud cost optimization initiatives.
