Senior Pipeline Estimator

About the role

The Senior Pipeline Estimator is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for Oil & Gas projects and programs. They develop quantity takeoffs from drawings, plans, specifications, and concept documents, build estimate narratives and Basis of Estimate (BOE) documentation, apply various costs to develop complete project cost estimates, review scope changes, contract modifications, and estimate impacts, support vendor and subcontractor pricing efforts, and provide guidance to junior estimators.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of estimating experience
• Extensive Oil & Gas experience
• Experience with field estimating and construction management activities
• Experience with estimating database software
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and construction contract documents
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and lead estimating efforts when needed
• Tools & Systems Experience with tools such as: Primavera Estimate/Schedule Transfer tools, Contract Manager, DMCS
