Senior Pharmacy Technician

About the role
We seek a Senior Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
- Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist
- Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies
- Receive and process wholesaler medication orders
- Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records
- Work with the Pharmacist to assist in pharmacy functions and keep the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
- Perform various clerical duties relating to the department
- Communicate with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
- Other duties as assigned
Schedule
Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts between the hours of 8:30am-5:00pm, including a 30-minute lunch break from 12:30pm to 1:00pm.
Location
2311 W Royal Palm Rd, Suite P, Phoenix, AZ 85021 (located inside the Southwest Network building).
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Arizona
- 3+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
- Ability to work onsite at the specified location, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30am-5:00pm
- Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license with a good driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Vaccination certified
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
Pay
The hourly pay for this role will range from $18 - $32 per hour based on full-time employment, depending on factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.
