About the Role

As a Senior Personal Banker, you’ll play a key role in our branch sales and service environment, building long-term customer relationships through a positive experience. This position focuses on managing a book-of-business, retaining customers, and developing relationships while adhering to our core culture of "attraction, expansion, and retention."
Responsibilities
- Sales:
- Meet sales referrals and cross-selling goals by understanding product features and benefits.
- Promote bank products and resolve customer inquiries.
- Refer customers for commercial products or services to appropriate business partners.
- Advance the Bank's Corporate Sales Program through consultative needs assessments and relationship development.
- Service:
- Identify opportunities through lobby management and assist with digital technologies.
- Maintain cost efficiency and ensure adherence to sales and brand standards.
- Provide a positive customer service experience.
- Operations:
- Ensure compliance with bank policies, laws, and regulations.
- Manage risk through lobby management and customer identity verification.
- Assist with branch operations, including opening/closing and supervising in the absence of management.
- Handle complex customer inquiries and provide supervisor overrides.
- Process transactions (e.g., check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, loan payments).
- Prepare Currency Transaction Reports and Suspicious Activity Forms.
- Train branch employees and support the contact center during high call volumes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 6 months of sales/service experience in a retail environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and handle escalated matters.
- Proficient in PC skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Required to register as a mortgage loan originator with the NMLS.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of sales and service experience in a retail environment.
- Retail banking experience.
- Supervisory experience.
- Life and Health Licenses to support investment programs.
Working Conditions
- Work is performed in a retail banking branch environment.
- May involve prolonged sitting/standing, occasional bending/stooping, and lifting up to 25 lbs. (coins).
- Willingness to work overtime, travel to other branches, and adapt to reassignments.
Pay
$21.23 - $26.51. Actual pay may vary based on skills, experience, location, and organizational needs. This role is incentive-eligible based on performance.
