Senior Performance Specialist

About the role

FactSet creates flexible, open data and software solutions for over 200,000 investment professionals worldwide. The Americas Analytics team is seeking a Performance Specialist to focus on generating and converting sales pipeline for FactSet Performance Solutions across Buy Side & Wealth clients in the Americas region. This role involves driving the assessment and qualification of Performance products and services to prospective buyers, working alongside existing Product Specialist Teams, and providing sales support through demonstrations, pilots, proofs of concept, and coordination with FactSet’s sales staff and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a thorough understanding of the performance market and competitive landscape.
• Understand client types and user workflows to identify areas of potential growth and execute on opportunities through client engagement and commercial discussions (e.g., Wealth Management, Institutional Asset Management).
• Design tailored product demonstrations to highlight the value of FactSet’s performance solutions for specific investment management needs.
• Partner with stakeholders such as the generalist sales team, analytics specialists, sales engineering, and consultants to run sales engagements, including pricing contracts and coordinating with implementation teams.
• Share insights from client interactions to help shape product strategy and future development.
• Seek additional ways to contribute, such as mentoring, training, running campaigns, and engaging with product strategy and development for new ideas, bug fixes, and improvements.
• Report the current state of opportunities to senior management regularly.
• Build and expand strong relationships across an international network, including Product Development, Implementation, clients, and prospects.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in a sales and/or client-facing role with a strong record of understanding customer needs and building effective relationships.
• Experience with Middle Office and Performance workflows; exposure to systems such as B-One, Eagle, or StatPro is a plus.
• Self-starter with a proven ability to excel in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to build relationships and interface with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong organizational and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel with strong time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Willingness to learn new trends and stay aware of industry changes.
• Willingness to travel.
• For U.S. locations, must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field; CFA qualifications are desirable.

Pay

The budgeted salary range for this position in New York City is $145,000 - $180,000. Salary is based on factors including education, work experience, and certifications.
