Job Summary (Senior PeopleSoft HCM Payroll & Benefits Business Analyst) Serve as a Senior Business Analyst supporting PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 Payroll and Benefits modules with 10+ years of relevant experience. Analyze, document, and develop functional specifications for Payroll and Benefits processes to improve departmental efficiency within PeopleSoft ERP. Possess deep knowledge of Payroll processing, W2, State/Federal/FLSA reporting, complex Benefits configuration and enrollment. Define external interface requirements and ensure integration with Time & Labor, financial systems, and third-party vendors. Present business requirements to development teams, participate in solution testing, and validate results. Maintain and configure PeopleSoft Payroll and Benefits tables and related product configurations. Develop and execute Payroll & Benefits queries and reports using SQL, SQR, XML Publisher, and Crystal Reports. Provide helpdesk support, troubleshoot HR application issues, and assist with Payroll processing/testing. Collaborate with functional and technical teams, DBAs, system administrators, integrators, and external vendors. Train and transfer knowledge to internal staff, develop functional documentation, and ensure excellent customer service. Support HRMS implementation projects, including FLSA configuration and non-compliant system remediation. Maintain up-to-date expertise in PeopleSoft PeopleTools and related technologies (PeopleCode, Workflow, Component Interface, File Layouts, PL/SQL, etc.). Ensure strong team contribution, self-motivation, independence, and leadership in project initiatives. Provide batch processing support and resolve operational system incidents as needed. Hold a Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field. Contribute to cross-training and skill development of Payroll & Benefits team members.
