The Senior PeopleSoft Engineer role is based in the United States and offers the opportunity to design, develop, and enhance enterprise-scale PeopleSoft solutions within a technology-driven environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop, maintain, and support enterprise PeopleSoft applications
- Design, develop, and implement PeopleSoft customizations using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, and Application Designer
- Build and maintain Application Engine programs, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker services, and File Layout integrations
- Develop and support SQR reports, BI Publisher solutions, and AWE workflow processes
- Perform SQL optimization, troubleshoot performance issues, and improve application efficiency
- Support PeopleSoft upgrades, patches, enhancements, and technical maintenance activities
- Collaborate with functional teams to analyze requirements, perform testing, and deliver effective solutions
- Investigate and resolve production issues while providing ongoing technical support
- Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, integrations, and development processes
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to improving development standards and best practices
- Support enterprise applications across areas such as HCM, FSCM, and Campus Solutions
Requirements for the role include:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft technical development experience
- Strong expertise with PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Designer, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, and Integration Broker
- Experience developing and supporting SQR, BI Publisher reports, and SQL-based solutions
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM, FSCM, or Campus Solutions modules
- Experience supporting PeopleSoft upgrades, patches, and application enhancements
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and functional teams
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a remote environment
Preferred qualifications include:
- PeopleSoft certifications
- Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM, Oracle ERP, or Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Familiarity with Fluid UI development
- Experience with Oracle Database administration and related technologies
