About the role
The Senior Payroll Associate assists in weekly payroll processing and maintenance. They are responsible for weekly benefits reports and unemployment annual updates, ensuring union class and rates are current in eCMS before processing. Timesheets are entered daily, and Excel time import applications are used for large projects requiring automation. Weekly check runs for various companies and distribution companies are processed, and certified payroll reports are processed weekly. Child support garnishment check requisitions are also processed. The position involves assisting with payoff check information on assigned evenings, weekends, and holidays, performing eStamp balancing weekly, and ensuring termination reports are completed weekly. Unemployment information is transmitted weekly, and union fringe reports are entered. The role requires knowledge of payroll systems and processes, as well as attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or university
- 2 years of general ledger work experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
