Senior Patient Transporter
Description
Responsible for efficient and timely movement of patients, specimens, supplies, and equipment throughout the hospital utilizing the appropriate mode of transportation and ancillary equipment while assuming responsibility for accurate identification of the patient, their safety and well-being. Familiar with proper use of patient lifting devices and capable of directing others in their use. Collaborative in coordination of care efforts such as discharges, imaging turn around functions, and morgue transports. Accurate use of Ticket to Ride as a hand-off mechanism.
Required Qualifications
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 months of previous patient experience
- 3 months of experience in Epic function
Pay
$27.66 - $38.01 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
