Responsibilities
- Register patients for the Emergency Department and various registration areas of the hospital.
- Assist the Team Coordinator and department leadership by serving as registration system super-user.
- Take on-call rotation during the week and on the weekends.
- Participate in the interviewing process.
- Prepare and review reports.
- Perform Quality Assurance (QA) audits.
- Mentor and train staff.
- Manage department supply levels.
- Participate in meetings and workgroups.
Requirements
- CHAA, CRCR, or CRCS certification required within six months of hire.
- 2 years of Customer Service and/or Data Entry experience.
- 2 years of previous experience in a healthcare environment.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in lieu of two years of experience.
- Proficiency in Keyboarding.
