About the role
Position Type : Full-Time, Exempt
Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
Pay : $120,000 to $165,000/year - based on experience
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Manage and develop team members responsible for pricing system updates and data accuracy
- Develop and maintain parts pricing models to optimize margin and competitiveness
- Ensure accuracy of online customer pricing systems and internal pricing structures
- Analyze cost structures, supplier pricing, and competitive data to recommend optimal pricing strategies
- Partner with IT to enhance reporting capabilities and data accessibility
- Support Parts Department with pricing guidance aligned to margin and market objectives
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to all health and safety policies
- Monitor pricing reports, margin performance, and sales trends to identify opportunities
- Identify underperforming products, margin leakage, and pricing optimization opportunities
- Prepare dashboards, reporting, and analysis for leadership review and strategic decisions
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Operations to ensure consistent pricing execution
- Provide training and communication on pricing strategies, policies, and updates
- Validate cost data, vendor terms, and rebate structures in partnership with Finance
- Monitor industry trends and competitor pricing to maintain market competitiveness
- Recommend process improvements and tools to streamline pricing activities
- Support strategic initiatives including promotions, incentive programs, and M&A analysis
- Travel up to 10% as needed for branch visits, training, and business meetings
Requirements
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance , Accounting, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field preferred. Five or more years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, data analytics, or related fields. Experience in the automotive or heavy-duty truck industry preferred.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills required; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and ERP systems (e.g., Procede , CDK, SAP) preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License required; must meet company insurability standards
- Up to 10% travel required, including day and overnight trips for branch visits, training, and company meetings
- Frequent standing and walking; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Vision abilities include close, distance, and color vision.
