About the role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Partner Accountant to join our Partnership Accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing experience within a leading law firm.
Responsibilities
- Supports the firm’s global partnership accounting and partner finance activities, including partner account reconciliations, profit allocations, capital management and partner payments.

Requirements
- Part or fully qualified accountant desirable but not essential.
- Demonstrable experience of all or most of the key tasks outlined above.
- Minimum of seven years relevant experience working within a professional services or accountancy practice in a similar role, ideally a partnership accounting role within a law firm.
Qualifications
- Advanced spreadsheet knowledge using Microsoft Excel skills are required.
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
- Willingness to challenge the status quo.
- Ability to use initiative and adapt to new processes and change.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, both verbally and written, with the ability to multitask and critically review.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Time management and forward planning skills, with an ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with changing work priorities.
Skills
- Ability to cover tasks for other team members when they are out of the office and to assist team members during busy periods.

Pay
The salary range for this position is £50,000 - £70,000 per annum.
Schedule
The role is full-time and permanent.
