About the Role
The Senior Specialist will join Known’s Paid Search team to create, maintain, analyze, and optimize search advertising campaigns. The role combines campaign operations, analytics, automation, internal tools, client-facing work, and independent responsibility for campaign deliverables and optimizations.
Responsibilities
- Lead search campaign launches, including setup, ad trafficking, and quality assurance across Google, Microsoft Ads, Apple Search Ads, and other platforms.
- Monitor, manage, analyze, optimize, and develop assigned campaigns.
- Support campaign planning with recommendations on campaign approaches, audience targeting, and measurement.
- Build and present campaign analyses and performance results, including reporting, audience insights, bid strategies, experiments, creative analysis, and landing-page strategy.
- Implement new optimization strategies, including bid approaches, ad-copy A/B tests, and audience testing.
- Develop new analytical methods for campaign optimization.
- Audit and validate reporting data and create analyses that improve client outcomes or team efficiency.
- Manage paid search media finance and billing requirements.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of professional experience working directly with paid campaigns on platforms such as Google, Microsoft Ads, or Apple Search Ads.
- 2+ years of professional experience in analytics, advertising, ad tech, or media.
- Strong understanding of paid search advertising fundamentals and hands-on platform experience.
- High proficiency with Excel and a strong foundation in mathematics and statistics.
- Ability to interpret data deeply, identify campaign setup errors, and uncover optimization opportunities.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently and present work to internal teams and clients.
- Prior agency experience and independent management of budgets exceeding $1M are preferred.
Pay
Base salary: $80K–$90K
