About the Role

We are seeking a Senior P6 Scheduler to develop and maintain project schedules for large-scale projects or programs, primarily in the energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors. This is a remote, offsite position based in Corvallis, OR.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Ensure alignment with project scope, budget, and resource plans.
  • Consolidate multiple project schedules into integrated master schedules.
  • Coordinate dependencies and interfaces between projects.
  • Conduct critical path analysis, float analysis, and risk assessments.
  • Identify schedule variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cost engineers and project managers to align schedule and cost data.
  • Provide earned value analysis and progress reporting.
  • Apply PMO governance, scheduling standards, and best practices.
  • Maintain consistency in coding structures, calendars, and resource assignments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). An advanced degree is preferred. Alternatively, an additional 4 years (14 years total) of directly applicable working experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years of full-time experience in project scheduling within large-scale projects or programs, with at least 5 years using Primavera P6.
  • Experience in energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage conflicting demands and complex programs/projects.
  • Strong technical writing, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Eligible to work under Department of Energy regulation 10 CFR, Part 810.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to communicate clearly using a phone, personal interaction, and computers.
  • Capability to learn new job functions and apply concepts accurately in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, and use of hands to operate office equipment.
  • Ability to travel nationally and locally using common forms of transportation.
