Senior or Principal Engineer

The Metropolitan Council’s Environmental Services (ES) division operates and maintains nine water resource recovery facilities in the Twin Cities metro area. The position of Senior Engineer or Principal Engineer (DOQ) includes planning technical analysis, collaboration, and administration of programs and projects in the Wastewater Planning and Community Programs team. The work may also include cross-functional participation on projects and programs in the Council's Water Resources and Water Supply Planning teams. This position is eligible for a hybrid (both remote and onsite) telework arrangement. Minimum Requirements: Senior Engineer - Salary: $88,566 -$143,707 annuallyBachelor's degree in engineering or directly related discipline AND Four years of related experience as an engineer AND Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) or Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Minnesota or a state with reciprocity.
