We welcome seeing examples of your work and digging into technical details.RequirementsHighly motivated individual with 7+ years of innovative work experience in optical or electro-optical systems, contributing both as a technical expert and as a project leaderBroad experience in optical design; exposure to diverse optical challenges is highly valuedDesired expertise includes: Lens design across UV to LWIR wavelengths (experience with Zemax OpticStudio preferred)Illumination design and non-sequential ray tracingRadiometry and photometryPhysical optics and interferometryConceptual optomechanical designEnjoys hands-on laboratory workComfortable building and testing your own designsExperience using optical test equipment such as interferometers, autocollimators, spectrophotometers, etc.Degree in Optics or Physics; postgraduate degree preferred but not requiredUS citizenship or permanent residency requiredAbout the CompanyFor many years, the organization has delivered innovative optical technology solutions-including both products and engineering services-to commercial, government, and consumer-facing clients worldwide.The engineering team is among the largest independent optical groups globally, managing full instrument development including optics, mechanics, electronics, and software.
