Senior Operations Research Analyst with Security Clearance

About the role

The Operations Research Analyst will work on the Enhanced Modeling and Simulation (M&S) development team at Team Peerless. They will collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders from the Joint Warfare Analysis Center and other Department of Defense and Intelligence Community entities.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute simulation experiments to optimize resource allocation and decision-making processes
• Apply advanced statistical and computational techniques to model complex systems and predict outcomes
• Develop and validate models using Python, R, VBA, or MATLAB to support strategic planning and policy formulation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data needs, analyze datasets, and provide actionable recommendations
• Create detailed reports and visualizations to communicate findings to senior leadership and external stakeholders
• Manage project timelines and resources using PERT networks to ensure timely delivery of high-quality results

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in operations research, data analysis, or mathematical modeling
• A Master's degree in Operations Research or a related field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, engineering, or computer science)
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required
