Responsibilities

  • Critical member of a 3-person contract team that leads and manages the analytical underpinnings for the Joint Regional IAMD capability mix studies
  • Coordinates with stakeholders to establish the study objectives, scenario development and measures of effectiveness: Joint Staff, combatant commands, intelligence community, Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation (CAPE)
  • With FFRDCs (Johns Hopkins APL), Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), Services, and the Missile Defense Agency to ensure the modeling and simulation accurately portray red and blue capabilities
  • Extensive technical interchanges with the Intelligence Community (IC) to develop and improve upon understanding and simulation representations of adversary air and missile system capabilities
  • Develop adversary threat scenario descriptions and adversary threat fire plans (air-breathers, ballistic, and the emerging/challenging threats) to support the Joint Regional IAMD Capability Mix

Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in STEM
  • 20+ years of military experience
  • TS/SCI or SAP access required
  • Air and missile defense specialization

Skills

  • Technical expertise in air and missile defense
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities
  • Experience with modeling and simulation
  • Understanding of adversary air and missile system capabilities
