Responsibilities
- Critical member of a 3-person contract team that leads and manages the analytical underpinnings for the Joint Regional IAMD capability mix studies
- Coordinates with stakeholders to establish the study objectives, scenario development and measures of effectiveness: Joint Staff, combatant commands, intelligence community, Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation (CAPE)
- With FFRDCs (Johns Hopkins APL), Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), Services, and the Missile Defense Agency to ensure the modeling and simulation accurately portray red and blue capabilities
- Extensive technical interchanges with the Intelligence Community (IC) to develop and improve upon understanding and simulation representations of adversary air and missile system capabilities
- Develop adversary threat scenario descriptions and adversary threat fire plans (air-breathers, ballistic, and the emerging/challenging threats) to support the Joint Regional IAMD Capability Mix
Qualifications
- Masters Degree in STEM
- 20+ years of military experience
- TS/SCI or SAP access required
- Air and missile defense specialization
Skills
- Technical expertise in air and missile defense
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Experience with modeling and simulation
- Understanding of adversary air and missile system capabilities
