Senior Operations Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Operations Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will focus on technical support for enterprise clients, helping resolve product-related issues and ensuring a smooth customer experience. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to troubleshoot issues in live environments, reproduce defects for analysis, and support performance validation during release cycles. The position also calls for strong hands-on experience with databases, application debugging, EDI systems, and cloud-native deployment tools. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $107,000 – $128,000 annually Responsibilities Provide technical support to enterprise clients for product-related issues Respond to customer inquiries professionally via email and phone Host remote troubleshooting sessions on customer production environments Document all necessary details for effective problem resolution Reproduce customer-reported issues in test environments for analysis Develop custom utilities and solutions for critical issues Assist with performance analysis and validation during product release cycles Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field plus 5 years of experience in healthcare product support or implementation 7 years of experience with relational database queries, including T-SQL or ANSI-SQL 7 years of experience developing or supporting applications using technologies such as COM, Java, or C# 7 years of experience with EDI systems and knowledge of HIPAA regulations 6 years of experience with code debugging and defect analysis Minimum 2 years of experience deploying and managing applications using Kubernetes and AWS Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage 401(k) savings plans with company matching Paid family leave 9 paid holidays per year Generous Paid Time Off, 17-27 days per year based on service Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
