Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of engineering and technical consulting projects within the nuclear power sector.
- Manage engineering studies and project assignments, including scope, schedules, budgets, client communication, and overall project performance.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers throughout the nuclear engineering design process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support project delivery across multiple regions as needed.
- Review, evaluate, and approve engineering calculations, reports, and other technical deliverables to ensure quality and compliance.
- Contribute to business growth by supporting strategic initiatives, identifying opportunities, and developing client relationships.
- Lead and coordinate proposal development activities, including responses to RFPs, RFQs, EOIs, and similar procurement opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative, safety-focused, and client-centered work environment while promoting organizational values and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 15+ years of progressive experience within the nuclear power industry.
- Previous experience in a consulting engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of both light water reactor technology and advanced reactor designs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams while managing project scope, budgets, schedules, and quality objectives.
- Working knowledge of nuclear industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze engineering documentation, including P&IDs, PFDs, SLDs, plot plans, and related technical drawings.
- Proven success in business development, proposal preparation, and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Experience preparing technical reports and project documentation.
- Proven history of delivering engineering projects on schedule and within budget.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and developing engineering professionals.
- Familiarity with engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), and related project delivery methodologies.
