Senior NPI Buyer

About the role

As a Senior NPI Buyer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of new product introductions (NPI) across various manufacturing processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and quality assurance to ensure timely and cost-effective supply chain management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure consistent quality and delivery schedules.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
• Manage the procurement process from initial request for proposal (RFP) through contract negotiation and supplier evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies related to procurement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and optimize supply chain operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Proven ability to manage complex procurement processes and supplier relationships.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Experience with ERP systems and procurement software is a plus.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 annually.

Schedule

This role is full-time and requires an on-site presence in Palo Alto, CA.
