Senior Non-Commissioned Investigator

Semi-monthly salary: $2,369.70. Annual salary: $56,872.80; individual(s) selected may receive a higher rate based on a pay differential (e.g., shift or time-of-service pay). Work location is negotiable.

This is a seasoned, non-commissioned investigator position responsible for conducting contract fraud, personnel, and welfare fraud investigations. The nature of fraud and employee misconduct is always changing, meaning the job will never become stagnant and you will continually develop new skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle a mix of complex contract, personnel, and welfare fraud cases by gathering information, examining records, conducting interviews, and completing comprehensive reports.
• Work independently or lead investigations with minimal supervision.
• Help ensure a fair and ethical workplace by investigating personnel matters, promoting a culture of accountability and transparency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Two or more years of relevant experience.
• Relevant certification/licensure.
• Knowledge of sources of information to be utilized in obtaining evidence and documentation, and the principles of identification, preservation, and presentation of evidence.
• Knowledge of criminal activity and administrative/regulatory violations.
