Senior Night Care Worker - Part Time
About the role
You'll help ensure residents feel safe, comfortable and supported throughout the night while providing leadership and guidance to colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate care delivery during night shifts
- Support residents with personal care and overnight needs
- Administer medication safely and accurately
- Carry out regular wellbeing and safety checks
- Respond to changing needs and emergency situations
- Support and mentor colleagues on shift
- Maintain accurate records and ensure effective communication at handover
Requirements
You will have experience working in a care setting and a strong understanding of person-centred care. You'll be organised, dependable and confident supporting colleagues while maintaining high standards of care and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare
- Willing to work towards, or already hold, an SVQ Level 4 qualification
Skills
Experience working in a care setting, understanding of person-centred care, organisational skills, dependability, confidence in supporting colleagues, and the ability to maintain high standards of care and professionalism.
